Mulching at the Sports Park

The Public Works Committee hosted a community service project on Saturday, July 19, 2014. Several families came out to join efforts to re-mulch the Sports Park Playground and what a sight! The project took about two hours. A very special thank you to all the Wildhorse volunteers especially the 10 & younger children.

Our front entrance was filled with U.S. flags to commemorate July 4th. A very special thank you to the Recreation committee for decorating.

The Recreation Committee will hosted its 2nd Annual Wildhorse Triathlon on Saturday, May 24th, 2014. The race consisted of a 5k run, 10k bike ride and a 400 yard swim. Awards were based on categories: individual male, individual female & overall team. To see more photos, please view the gallery below.
Blood drive for Cody Culp
May 19, 2014 Wildhorse Community partnered with South Texas Blood & Tissue Center this past Saturday to host a blood drive on behalf of Cody Culp. We exceeded our goal and had 19 gracious Wildhorse residents donate their time and blood to save over 36 lives! A special thank you to ALL 19 residents -you all are a shining example of the valuable act of giving life.
Easter Egg Hunt Blast at the Park
April 20, 2014 The Social/Recreation Committee hosted the Annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 19, 2014. Residents of all ages made their way to the Sports Park to enjoy the egg hunt. There was a petting zoo on site for the event. A special thank you from the Wildhorse community to Hilda Black, April White, Robert Black and the Social/Recreation committee for making this event possible.
Wildhorse Spring Clean-Up was a Great Success
April 5, 2014 The Public Works Committee and several Wildhorse volunteers spent their morning at the Annual Spring Clean-Up event. Despite the cold weather this morning, about 20 residents helped beautify our great community picking up trash and debris from the Sports Park, the greenbelt area and along Wildhorse Parkway. A special thank you to all the volunteers helping make a difference.
