Amendment to Governing Documents Regarding Lot Maintenance – You have spoken and we have heard! Over the years, the Board of Directors, as well as Spectrum, has received complaints regarding some of the maintenance of lots in the community. It is costly to the community to take a homeowner to court to enforce lot maintenance. There is a cost-effective action that may be achieved in an effort to keep the community beautiful. Upon periodic review of the 25 governing documents, it was discovered that not all units within the community provided the same level of regulation when it comes to implementing a potential “forced enforcement” of the CC&Rs. In an effort to remedy this, owner participation is required by vote (2/3rd of the owners). The goal will be to not only compile more than 25 units of the CC&Rs into one easy-to-read document, but also to authorize enforcement of the new document. Additional information will be presented to the community in the coming weeks. It will take a team effort to make this change possible

The subject of the meeting is general business of the Association, which may include discussion of items related to the Association budget and expenditures. Items that may be discussed in executive session include actions involving personnel, pending or threatened litigation, contract negotiations, enforcement actions, and confidential communications with the Association attorney, matters involving invasion of privacy of owners, and other matters that are confidential by request of an affected party and agreement of the Board.

Easter Egg Hunt & Pancake Breakfast

The Social Committee hosted the Easter Egg Hunt and Pancake Breakfast this past Saturday at the Sports Park. Several families participated in the activities as the Egg Hunt portion was sectioned based on age level. A huge thank you to April White and the Social Committee for making this event a great success!

New Community Improvement

A new community improvement has been approved and installed throughout Wildhorse. There are two dog waste receptacles located along the Walking Trail. The first installment is at Wildhorse Parkway by the bridge overpass and the second at the end of the trail on Stagecoach Bay and Timber Country.
Wildhorse Community Dump Day

Wildhorse Community Dump Day took place this Saturday morning at the Sports Park. What started with a few glitches, soon things were underway. We initially ordered two 40-yard containers and Wildhorse delivered. With a line of residents patiently waiting, both containers were filled with large items such as old mattresses, televisions, water heaters and even a jacuzzi. We were fortunate enough to be able to fill up 10 Tiger Sanitation residential dump trucks as well. We do apologize the 12 containers reached capacity before the expected time of the event but thank you Wildhorse for being prepared and doing your part to reduce illegal dumping in the community.
WH Adult Holiday Party

Wildhorse residents came out to celebrate the Holidays yesterday evening at Two-Step Restaurant and Cantina. With what ended up as a sold out event, more than a hundred residents came out to meet new neighbors and enjoy the Holiday season. Thank you to all the Wildhorse volunteers who made this event possible. See you all Next Year!
6th Annual Wildhorse Stampede

The Recreation Committee hosted their 6th Annual Wildhorse Stampede this morning. More than 130 adults and children signed up for the 5K Walk/Run and the 1K Walk/Run. _Proposed VIA 660 Reroute through Wildhorse Update

VIA has notified the Board of Directors:
"VIA will not place the detour routing of 660 on Wildhorse Parkway. The detour will remain on the current detour routing, but staff will evaluate the “Shaenfield-1560-Braun” for a possible detour alternative."
