_Proposed VIA 660 Reroute through Wildhorse Parkway

VIA Community Meeting would like to receive public input regarding a proposed rerouting of the Route 660 Detour. To keep the route on schedule, VIA would like to gather comments on changing the detour to operate on Wildhorse Parkway between Shaenfield and Braun Road until the construction on Loop 1604 is complete.
The meeting will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the North West Church of Christ Fellowship Hall, 9681 W. Loop 1604 North.
Wildhorse residents came out to celebrate the Holidays yesterday evening at Two-Step Restaurant and Cantina. With what ended up as a sold out event, more than a hundred residents came out to meet new neighbors and enjoy the Holiday season. 6th Annual Wildhorse Stampede

The Recreation Committee hosted their 6th Annual Wildhorse Stampede this morning. More than 130 adults and children signed up for the 5K Walk/Run and the 1K Walk/Run. The Board of Directors approved adding a new playground to the Sports Park. This new amenity will be age appropriate for the 2-5 year old children. The expected date of completion is Spring 2015.
Family Night a Success

On Saturday, October 11, 2014 the Recreation/Social Committee hosted "Wildhorse Family Night". The evening was filled with several children's activities ranging from a petting zoo to bounce houses. Numerous families came out to enjoy the fun, food and much needed cool weather. A HUGE thank you to the entire Recreation Committee for their hard work and relentless giving to our community. Dive-In Movie Night
August 16, 2014 The Pool Committee hosted a Back-to-School Movie Night at the Sports Park pool on Saturday, August 16, 2014. We had a great turnout for the event. There were snow cones, cotton candy and sandwiches. Thank you to the Pool Committee for all their hard work.
Mulching at the Sports Park

The Public Works Committee hosted a community service project on Saturday, July 19, 2014. Several families came out to join efforts to re-mulch the Sports Park Playground and what a sight! The project took about two hours. A very special thank you to all the Wildhorse volunteers especially the 10 & younger children.

The Recreation Committee will hosted its 2nd Annual Wildhorse Triathlon on Saturday, May 24th, 2014. The race consisted of a 5k run, 10k bike ride and a 400 yard swim.
